Coast 2 Coast LIVE is proud to welcome Knjah<\/a>\u00a0as a finalist for the 2019 Coast 2 Coast LIVE World<\/span>\u00a0Championship<\/span>! Knjah<\/a> will perform on 11\/10\/19 for our panel of judges including\u00a0Serge Durand (VP of A&R at Capitol Music Group)<\/a>,\u00a0Steve Lobel (Legendary Manager of Scott Storch)<\/a>, and\u00a0Success (VP of A&R \u2013 Atlantic Records)<\/a> for a grand prize of $50,000!<\/div>\n

Knjah<\/a> was the 4th place winner at the Coast 2 Coast LIVE Paris 3\/24\/19 showcase beating out dozens of other artists.<\/div>\n

K’njah de son vrai nom Aur\u00e9lie est n\u00e9e le 26 janvier 1986 c\u2019est une artiste d’origine guadeloup\u00e9enne et martiniquaise qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 berc\u00e9e depuis le plus jeune \u00e2ge dans un univers musical \u00e0 l’age de 10 ans elle entre au conservatoire pour y apprendre le solf\u00e8ge et le saxophone Par la suite elle se rend vite compte que c’est le chant qu’elle aime elle tombe sous le charme de la musique urbaine et par la suite se sent entra\u00een\u00e9e vers la musique carib\u00e9enne . En 2003, K\u2019njah se retrouve dans un groupe cr\u00e9e par une de ses amie \u00ab le LSK crew \u00bb (ragga dancehall) qui \u00e9tait \u00e0 la base une distraction puis qui tr\u00e8s vite devient pour elle une vraie passion. Le groupe prend fin mais elle d\u00e9cide continuer en solo et c’est l\u00e0 que l’aventure commence. Anciennement connue sous le nom de lil K’njah c’est en 2003 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 17 ans qu’elle fait ses d\u00e9buts dans l’univers reggae dance hall du milieu underground avec des lyriks engag\u00e9s pour l’\u00e9poque. Progressivement elle \u00e9volue en se produisant sur des sc\u00e8nes et dans des sound system. K\u2019njah pose sa voix sur diff\u00e9rentes compiles entre 2003 et 2007 Sur independancehall de soulshock avec le titre faya faya ,kannibal riddim de dj Red eyes avec qui elle va collaborer pendant une longue p\u00e9riode . De pr\u00e8s comme de loin elle collabore aussi avec plusieurs artistes de la sc\u00e8ne underground. Sa carri\u00e8re s’\u00e9tend davantage en faisant des apparitions sur les sc\u00e8ne du Palacio, l\u2019hacienda, Tryptique ,Astros club… C’est en 2005 que K\u2019njah rencontre et collabore en featuring avec la chanteuse Lady Sweety Une artiste qui l’inspire beaucoup. Elle b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie de ses pr\u00e9cieux conseils qui lui permettent d’\u00e9voluer dans son propre style et dans sa musique. Suite \u00e0 une longue pause K\u2019njah revient en 2016 et se consacre enti\u00e8rement \u00e0 son projet. En 2018 elle collabore avec un grand artiste Joseph Cotton. En Ao\u00fbt 2018 elle sort un single ” Ragga Bang Bang” A ce jour elle pr\u00e9pare la sortie de son EP 6 titres bient\u00f4t disponible sur les plateformes de t\u00e9l\u00e9chargements l\u00e9gales.
